He's been pretty disappointing. I mean, he gives you nothing in the playoffs but I thought he'd provide some offence down the stretch.

Something I have been curious about, why do we have such a lack of shutouts? Some goalies who have had so-so years (like Swayman) have like 3 or 4. Stolarz and Woll have only 1 each. Just curious why?

Yup, he is an explosive player, but once in a while it doesn't work. For any player in fact.

Naa it's a risky play. I've noticed that him overplaying on Defense has put the team in a scramble mode. He goes rogue and when he has success, it's looks incredible individually but when he fails the team looks bad because casual fans dont see that it was because Marner is spreading the D out going for steals.

Like I showed in the stills... as you can see, he tries it often and often it fails. Sure vs Anaheim a team comfortably out of the playoffs it looks amazing and not playing for anything...but when he's doing this in the playoffs we will probably pay for it more than get value from it.

How many playoff goals has he scored like this? Because he scores alot like this in the season.

Good defensive play and chips in offensively here and there.

This is one of those games where you get two points and no one remembers a single thing about it. This game is a good example of why the season is too long.

It's Anaheim. The Leafs won't be stuck on 2 goals, although that will probably be enough to win this one.

I’ll believe it when I see it. We also “should’ve” scored more than two on a terrible Nashville team and an awful San Jose at home a couple of weeks back. We didn’t and it cost us.

A goal with space.... this is what Marner critics complain about. It's the only time he produces. Show me a goal in tight or a goal from him battling around the net and I'll be impressed.

How many goals like this has he scored in the playoffs? Playoff teams don't make risky plays from the bluelines like a young inexperienced Anaheim team comfortably out of the playoffs with 10 games left.
