That was my take for Game 2, but this game ain’t it. They were an embarrassment and this fake push doesn’t cover up the stench.

Game two was at home. Splitting a two game set at home was not great, but splitting a two game set on the road is almost always a net positive. Leafs need to lean into homefield advantage and use that to close out the series.

We shouldn’t have been playing like we expect a long series. We should have been playing like we’re trying to prove something and getting ahead in the series even more would have shown the commitment level.
