It’s the fact that tampa showed up and we didn’t…if we were losing 3-0 whilst giving it all. That would suck, but at least we left it all there…

We have Marner trying to do everything, Matthews pulling a Ben Simmonds with the puck, and the other two performing magic tricks

Doesn’t help that Campbell can’t stop or track a beachball

He's basically saying our top line should have been out for the start of the game and even double shifted in that first 5 minutes to get them hot and going from the get go.

I agree with him. Matthews and Marner take over early and it's rare we lose.

We didn’t start them for home games because of matchups, why are we doing it on the road? Get your guns out there.

I hate how good he is when he's healthy and yet he spends considerable stretches not playing at 100%.

I wouldn't necessarily blame Campbell but some of those goals were saveable. Letting in 3/6 shots should never happen.

That said, he looks like he's settled down

Imagine Vasi letting in 3 goals on 6 shots. It won’t happen. Campbell played good in game 3, but he needs to be unbeatable for the rest of the game. If they get 4, you might as well pull him and give him a rest.

I know people are hesitant to criticize Matthews, for good reason, but his last four periods have been... rough.

Definitely needs to be better. If you're the best be the best. It's playoffs. Need him big time.

I think he'll be there. Obviously the next period is big. Being down three I'm not sure what else could get you more amped to get a couple.

What i don't understand is why, after 20+ years of playing hockey, does Holl need to wait for his brain to reboot every time he gets the puck on his stick.
I can't recall any player who processes the game as slowly as he does. It's just so very very bad.

He isn’t injured. He wasn't injured injured last year. He wasn’t injured 2018

These are just excuses leafs fans come up with to excuse his choking dna.

He went from snipping goals at will in game 82, to being a mediocre player AGAIN

If leafs lose this series you can look back at keefes line decisions in game 4 as a turning point. going back home up 3-1 would have been huge.

If we're going to lose, let the top guys lose it for us. Dont put so much faith in depth and justin holl
