The Bunting penalty is a great miniature case study on everything wrong with league officiating. They gave him a penalty not because he actually violated any rule, rather they didn't wanted to give the Leafs a PP.

Boggles the mind too that they give the refs leeway to decide unsportmanlike penalties but they can't decide if a player intentionally plays the puck over the glass or not (maybe the worst rule in the game).
