Yeah, I only have 2 thoughts on my mind at a time. Leafs cup victory being first and foremost, beer being the second. Screw the critics like my wife, much more important things on my mind.

Great question! I have nowhere near enough energy ATM to even start thinking about that one but yeah, great question!

Nice to see a strong response from Ritchie. I’ve been very critical of him, but this Avs game is probably the best game I’ve seen from him this year, at least so far (through 2 periods). His compete level is better, fewer mistakes, and scored a goal (just his 2nd of the season).

If he played like this consistently, he’d be worth his contact. It’s probably just a 1 game response to getting waived, but fingers crossed.

This has been an excellent game, and the Leafs have been the better team.

Campbell and Matthews the best and second, Mack and Mak 3 and 4.

The Avs have a very good broadcast and PBP setup, I like seeing the other team’s pov, even if some are garb, but they’re good, one of them has sauced a bit and the other two guys are busting his chops, love it.

I feel like Splitting Matthews, Marner & Nylander into 3 different lines is something the leafs should seriously consider, it would pose matchup nightmares for opposing teams. Something potentially like below:

Bunting-Matthews-Kase
Kerfoot-Tavares-Nylander
Mikey-Kamph-Marner
Engvall-Spezza-Simmonds
