Bruins being Bruins, with their PK being so strong they probably have less fear of consequences (because the NHL has always been a joke with their two minute calls for dangerous plays).

Leafs have to punish them again on this PP. I hope Clifford is back with Simmonds for key games once he is healthy.

Marner collected 2 more secondary assists today - both compliments of being on a line with Matthews. He now leads the league in secondary assists and only has 2 goals and 3 primary assists in 12 games. Think how many points Matthews could have if his 11 million dollar linemate could score goals like him.

Not a great start to this season from Mitch's own standards but good players find ways to tally points.

Just let him ride it out and he'll find his way like he always does.

Technically it’s at the discretion of the official, they just always determine the extent by whether there’s blood.

Kind of a weird comparrison. Very different players. I think a better hope for Lily would be to try and follow the Toews/Josi development path. Hard to do obviously but he has the tools to get there.

No Clifford, he sucks man, and takes STUPID penalties, he is literally just a plug... Simmonds on the other hand, while not the Simmonds of 10 years ago, can still play hockey and players are still scared of him.

But he has been improving every year So we shall see if he does develop into a top 2 .

When he does that will mean he’s healthy and once again the sky’s the limit with him.
