Confirmed with Link: Leafs sign John Prokop (Union College, NCAA) to ELC (1 year, $875k; begins 2025-26, ATO with Marlies this season)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Leading his team in scoring as a D in both his freshman and sophomore seasons is pretty impressive. He was 2 points behind the team leader this past season as well.

Kinda crazy to lead a team in scoring with 23pts in 35 games though. I take it the team didn't score much.

Musta been a pretty good sell job. The path on the left side isn’t exactly clear. Different skill set from most of the LHD on the Marlies though.

Be interesting to see him during his PTO.

Or best-case scenario we flip him for an established support position in need, instead of you know...a 1st.

Leafs are going to have to sign a bunch of these guys to balance things out with all the picks they’ve traded

History has proven that many of these highly touted undrafted NCAA prospects can make it in the NHL.

It's definitely worth a gamble.

He looked fantastic the few games I caught of him playing last season. No idea if it'll translate but hard not to like it when a young guy like this chooses the Leafs over everyone else
There’s also another massive reason he picked the Leafs, he damn well knows Leafs literally have nobody even close after you look at the names of Cowan and Danford.

But still, the fact an American kid chose the Leafs shows there isn't a "foreign country" issue like the Raptors often face.
