Low risk high reward, tidy work. Trelivings first good move.
Somebody call Tanya Harding to the Murray practice ice.
Question is where is the trade for cap implications? More needs to be done…
Might take awhile, but I expect his contract will be shipped out.Can he actually do that without getting hurt in the first place?
...
You're right, he should pack!
One year is weird. I’ll try to get past my dislike for his me first attitude.
What an off-season, sheesh.
I meant there will be roster players coming back from Willie trade. And unless they are on ELC, they will be around 3mil per player. In reality if two 3mil players come back from Willie trade, the cap available is really 1mil.Is that not why I said Treliving would move Nylander? PLD was moved for 3 young roster players with NHL experience. You could probably get that same value plus futures for Nylander. As he’s a better player.
Would give us more depth to work with and maximize even this Bertuzzi signing
only caveat, he has to stay healthyIt's really difficult imagine him not flourishing on the left wing of either top lines.
Not sure on the rules but can we extend him midseason??Nice pick up and I actually like the short term right now. Maybe we can renegotiate with him next season once our contracts are figured out.
Isn't the rule after the new year? Not sure on the rules but can we extend him midseason??
If we fail this year before the TDL he will probably garner alot of value back at the TDL.Good stuff here! I like the signings approach of quality over quantity (Bertuzzi-top six F/W, Klingberg-top four D). Hoping for a nice reward to go with a couple of relatively low-risk signings. I'm just slightly baffled about the team signing Bertuzzi, Klingberg and Reaves with the latter amongst that trio being the one to receive the deal with term on it!
It now feels like there's a possibility of the team having a better year after all.
