No arguments from me man, he's certainly getting the job done. Just some of the saves so far have struck fear into me that I'm not accustomed to lately with a .940 SV% Jack Campbell in net. In the close 2-1 games the Leafs have came out on top off lately I just don't think I'd be comfortable with him in nets, I guess that's the point I'm trying to make.
Through 2 and 2/3 of games, there hasn't been a single shot, or sequence of plays where I'm nervous having Woll in the net. Whereas the past year and a half, every shot with Andersen I've been holding my breath. Woll has been perfectly fine. The goal tonight was bad, but aside from that, the 4 he let in against Buffalo were meh, none of them were back breaking horrible goals.

The Leafs always play good regular season hockey, this year is no exception! I love the additions of Kase' and Kampf, they have added a new dimension. I'll reserve my judgement on this team until the post-season, they have a lot to prove, and they don't get the benefit of the doubt until they earn it.
Always? I thought we were a lottery team for a straight decade or more.

I think a few might not like this but the last point I agree. Leafs are rolling and look like they can beat anyone but I need to see it in the playoffs. Do I feel more confident than the past season i do!

Yeah I'm probably just spoiled from the incredible goaltending Campbell has been giving us lately. Most saves just seem effortless well Woll just seems scrambley and disorganized. Still he's battling hard and getting results so can't complain too much.

Speaking of FabFour

.... anyone watching "Get Back"

It's really great so far, one thing is clear it wasn't Paul nor was it Yoko, it was just a lot of dumb stuff they couldn't shake off.

My comment dealt with how they are playing now. I see them as being better than other versions of the regular season teams you admit play well. If you're going to wait until the post season to determine the quality of the team, why bother commenting during the regular season as, by your admission, it is of no consequence?

This team beginning to develop personality.

The flashy working hard. Before maybe not all the time, but that comes with youth. Now they just seem more determined.

I really like what Marner is doing. We do not know what he will do, but now he is attacking the net. Before it was the perimeter, how he looking to do damage.

Then everyone else does their job.

Holl is having another brutal game. He's really been the only sore spot the last dozen games. Holl could be a good 2nd pairing dman, but he just isn't at this point.
