I'll totally I have a huge pick on Holl. I don't want him on this team but everything he gets he really does deserve it. And Matthews has gotten a lot of criticism here this year. It's surprised the crap out of me. And it bugs me when it happens but he deserves it when it leads to a goal or even a great scoring chance. Everybody has been getting a lot of criticism. It's the Leafy thing to do. In fact I think the only guy not to get shat on is Willy.

Is this as good as the team has looked in years? A 14 game heater, sound 5x5, pk is strong, pp is scoring, goaltending is solid...you can always hope for more, but the boys as a team are consistently playing good hockey.

And to think that once upon a time we all despised Spezza when he was with the Sens.

TBH, I personally despised the crest more than any of the players. They've had quite a few guys I'd love to see in Leafs blue over the years; Spezza being one of them.

First time checking in here tonight, but been watching the game.

Leafs just keep rolling along. Sloppy first period, but looked much better in the second.

Shut it down and bring this one home in the third.

No arguments from me man, he's certainly getting the job done. Just some of the saves so far have struck fear into me that I'm not accustomed to lately with a .940 SV% Jack Campbell in net. In the close 2-1 games the Leafs have came out on top off lately I just don't think I'd be comfortable with him in nets, I guess that's the point I'm trying to make.

I get what you are saying. He’s young, hasn’t played a ton the last few years, looks nervous at times and isn’t quite in control. Yet, only one goal on the last 39 shots. I mean, how good could he be, if he actually adapts, gains confidence and cleans up these aspects of his game? He just battles and has done well. Kudos to him and the team to help him along.

Should of been 5-1 after Karlson took a SOG against generic Cali fan and Matthews buries a PP goal. Nevertheless an amazing period with no complaints besides the refs.

Maybe 6-1 if you include the refs randomly blowing the whistle in the first period during the Willy -Envall 2 on 1 which should have been a tap in

The Leafs always play good regular season hockey, this year is no exception! I love the additions of Kase' and Kampf,they have added a new dimension. I'll reserve my judgement on this team until the post-season, they have a lot to prove,and they don't get the benefit of the doubt until they earn it.
