I also thought Holl played well too. The goal against was almost all on Muzzin, that puck needs to get deep. Terrible turnover.

It was, but Holl couldn't have played the 2 on 1 much worse. He didn't force Anderson to do anything AND didn't take the pass away. It was basically a 2 on 0. It would have been more effective if he straight up layed down.

to be fair, I wouldn't have anticipated Anderson making a pass on a 2v1 either. I wasn't even sure he knew passing was an option

I've seen my 10 year old play a 3 on 1 better defensively then Holl did. He didn't commit to anything on the play, just kept backing up......

I was listening to Ottawa sports radio. Brady won’t play tonight but sounds like he will be in the building for player introductions and may be named captain then. Great night if true to introduce him as captain to a crowd that’s at least half full of Leafs fans lol

I find the Leafs are horrible on 2-1 both ways.
On D we never stop the pass, on O we never make the pass.
