Simmonds last year ran away from Edmundson. Threw a hit on Hughes and fought Jordie Benn, the lesser of the Benns

That was a good game by him for sure. I don’t think he beat Lucic tho. I feel like Sab got tagged and looked like he couldn’t remember his name as he headed to the penalty box.

When Anderson was taking runs at Muzzin.... Simmonds were no where to be found
When Anderson took a run at Simmonds, he was no where to be found
When Kassian took a run at Tavares.....Simmonds was no where to be found
Sabourin would have ruined Anderson. Simmonds didnt' do what he was brought here to do
In one game Sabourin knew what his role was...Simmonds keeps thinking he can score 30 goals and that's why we got him here

Gabriel beat Sabourin in Iowa.
Simmonds could hang with Anderson but it's a bit out of his weight class. Guarantee you see Ritchie v Anderson this season and I haven't seen Ritchie lose a fight outright.
