He hasnt looked great tonight, but he was fine for the home opener - had 4 shots on goal. Plus there's been no reporting on any lingering health issues
It isn't exactly rare for a player to permanently lose a step after a very significant head injury. And I don't think it typically gets reported as lingering health issues.

Man, this team has no one who can provide a spark. How are they expecting to compete in the playoffs if they do make it. Absolutely none of their players are aggressive. It's like they're playing the game in slow motion.

MLSE “jersey sales are up. Tickets are sold out. TV eyeballs are up too. Good job Shanny and Dubes. Sign your extensions here.”

It's game 2 and we already have to juggle the lines.

It could be a preseason game. It's actually more the reason, maybe see if you have chemistry with other players early in the season

If you are going to experiment, you wouldn't want to do it early in the season ?

If it doesn't work this year I'm gonna start to doubt Dubby's assertion that repeated public humiliation is how you build a winner.

I know it's only game 2... I know that.

But given how outrageously scary the injury to Tavares was in game 1 of the playoffs, after how many games of him looking invisible are we allowed to be concerned? He's invisible out there today.

I asked yesterday and endlessly got flamed, but I still think it's a legitimate question.

I've been saying for a year now I think his days at centre are numbered, he's too slow in transition and overall doesn't impact the game enough to justify his cap hit. But yeah, how dare I, I was also endlessly flamed.

Oh I agree with you, it's just funny that we're already this much of a mess that we need to do it already.

I don't think either of us are qualified to speculate on that. Plenty of players bounce back from concussions without any longer term effects.

didnt watch the first period did Keefe change his lines to get something going? or is he staying status quo like he did in playoffs?

Jesus

Isn't someone going to get pissed and hit someone?

They are just toying with us
