I know its early but this team doesn't even look close to last years team. I think this may be Marners last year as a leaf.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Leafs unloading Marner only for him to turn into a constant 100 point scorer and difference maker for someone else, so we can hear about it again and again for the next 50 years...

It's seriously concerning the club didn't move on from Marner after that atrocious series vs MTL. We're delaying the inevitable here, probably trading him after this season unless he goes on some Kucherov-like playoff run.

But given how outrageously scary the injury to Tavares was in game 1 of the playoffs, after how many games of him looking invisible are we allowed to be concerned? He's invisible out there today.

I asked yesterday and endlessly got flamed, but I still think it's a legitimate question.

He hasnt looked great tonight, but he was fine for the home opener - had 4 shots on goal. Plus there's been no reporting on any lingering health issues
