Leafs have dominated this game.

Freddy has been horrendous.

We have dominated parts of the game, and completely stopped skating in others. Unfortunately this has been the story of the Leafs for years.

Can't blame Freddy for all of this. He's been bad but how are we making this so easy?

This team will never make it out of the 1st round with Andersen as their starter. Might not even make it to the playoffs anymore.

This game is also on Keefe. Another TMM penalty which caused the 5 on 3 for the Sens to score their first goal, and then his failure to remove Andersen after the third goal. What was it, 3 goals on 12 shots or something?

Look it's not Fred's fault. The team has quite literally given up 4 good chances all game and those are the 4 goals that have gone in.

The question quite literally becomes: Can he make a save that isn't LD. It's the difference between a good and elite goalie.

It's the teams fault so that includes Freddie. Its also the coach and gms fault as well. If this keeps up I hope the organization cleans house with players and management.

I’m more disappointed because the first half of this period the Leafs were kicking ass, all over the Sens, skating them into the ground in their end, Kerfoot goal came off that pressure.

Then a few crucial mistakes and Andersen being incapable of making a clutch saves and we’re down 2 goals. Frustrating as all hell.

Their "kicking ass" was largely punctuated by a long shift around the perimeter where they didn't really make an attempt, they need to go for the throat. I'm sorry the notion the Leafs were ever great in this game is a huge misnomer.

I'm not a doomsayer but this is a really bad start, this has not been a good team so far I know hfboards flips on the scoreboard but this is sloppy stuff.

But yes Freddy has been f***ing awful.

Keefe has to make some adjustments. They were bad in game 1, and he was praising what he saw.

Now they're the same bad in game 2, just without the puck luck.

I would start by putting Hyman back on the Matthews line.

listen, this game shows you the immaturity of this group. Possession domination yet you get outscored 3-1 in the period. cross crease passes to absolutely no one, perimeter play, trying the cute plays, whiffing on passes, blind passes.. you name it. These guys underestimate the opponent all the time. No taking nights off! Absolutely pathetic performance. Andersen is absolute garbage.

4 and 5 years in and they can't mature, that is bad.

I know this opinion will be unpopular and yes, it's just the second game but the same thing that has hampered this team for years is lack of killer instinct. They just don't have it. That simple, in my humble opinion.

They were not kicking ass. They were playing a perimeter puck possession game and showed very little ability to penetrate the Ottawa slot area. Showed pretty clearly they were more interested in making easy skill plays than taking the boot to the Sens.

Honestly considering how good that line has been over the years, and all the chemistry, this change is the most egregious thing he's done so far. Young coach folding to a big name star.

I counted 2 big saves in the last game in OT alone when he was the better goalie and won us the game.

All teams give up chances and some allow more, but their goalies make the saves.
We need ours to make saves.

You can't allow mutiple questionable goals, and then make 2 good stops, and say he did his job.
