Matthews is 2nd in the league in creating chances after forechecking. And he has played 9 less games than the leader.

Thay is doing the little things right and just not being able to convert

That's why he is the best player on the team and paid the most. AiNEC. Nylander and Marner are a step below obviously

Well 2 games are against Buffalo and they scored on half their shots against Dallas. Not exactly a great measuring stick, but hopefully the confidence goes to their head and helps against a good team

But it's these type of games Leafs would get goalied or had 5 powerplays and don't score.

It's not an easy league.

It's 15 goals in 3 games now.

If there defence keeps playing this way and they start getting around 3 to 4 a game... leafs will be in great shape.
