High sticking happens multiple times every game. It happens before goals
All thr time. I have seen tons of times when the players are bleeding on the bench, teams screaming and no call.

I am assuming that linesmen don’t want to over ride the refs? But no way it has never been seen by linesmen before.

I agree it’s odd. And you are right the linesman are quite hesitant to over ride the refs. Understandably what if they step out of their comfort zone and are wrong.
But they are allowed to do it on highsticking and a couple other things.
