This win feels different from the Boston win. In the Boston game, they still looked lethargic.

Tonight, they dominated for 60 minutes. If they play like this, they will finish 1st in the east. No doubt in my mind. Consistency is key though.

Great game tonight. We outplayed them badly in the first, but a few defensive lapses made the score board look a lot different. Good to see these guys come out and dominate the last 20 minutes. Hope it is the turning point of our season.

Was impressed with that I saw out of Ferierro, or however you spell it. Hope he can bring that every game.

Condensed game takes a while to get up. Requires editing. You could just elect to watch the full game, and use the highlight anchors in the navigation bar to skip to the next highlight.

Can't, 48 hour restriction. I'm assuming cause it was blacked out. It said I could watch the condensed game without restriction, but maybe that'll be tomorrow morning?

Thanks though.

Nice to get the win from being down 2.

But this team has some serious system issues. We got the bounces in the 3rd, but they can't be too happy with this game.

It was unbearable for the first two periods. Especially their breakouts. I don't think its a personnel or effort problem. These are system issues that were around last year; they are just more pronounced this year.

They REALLY needed to win this game, another loss would have put them in a serious hole. At least now they have something to work with.
you and i musta been watching a different game??? i thought the rangers dominated this entire game, they just couldnt finish. what were the total shots on goal? 19 to like 42?

Rangers might have won, but I'm honestly starting to get worried. A lot of the grit and resolve I saw in this team last year is gone. Letting Fedotenko go for no reason was just dumb. Kreider being healthy might help (bone chip in his ankle) sure, and not having a training camp hurt this team more than any other in the NHL as a team that prides itself on it's conditioning, but there just isn't any excuse for the way they've started.

I'm not normally like this, but I just don't see the same things I saw with this team that I didn't see last year and not only that, I don't think Hank has been all that great either.

Sure, we might have gained in skill, but we lost in grit and speed and that grit and speed was a HUGE reason as to why we won a lot of games last year, especially against the good teams that we beat.

Watching the replay now. Even my Devs fan friend said the Rangers looked monstrous, here's hoping i'm not disappointed.

Also, how 'bout that Gabby?

Guys like Ani and Dubi you can find almost anywhere.

You can't just find a Rick Nash anywhere. I'd still make that trade again.

This lockout hurt the Rangers more than most other teams. Some new faces and we pride ourselves on conditioning.

The Rangers dominated the Leafs tonight, so maybe it's a start of something good.

Now all they need is to find a away to get rid of Halpern, Asham and Rupp, find a REAL 6th dman (Eminger got 4 mins and change), as well as fix the PP. That's all! lol

wait what?

Rangers just played their most complete game of the season. they dominated from start to finish, threw huge hits all over the place, controlled the boards all night long, generated tons of paint traffic.

literally everything youre complaining about they demonstarted in spades tonight.

I get this post after the Flyers game...but tonight? Really?

It's not just the conditioning. It's not just the lack of time to get chemistry.

The single biggest problem is that they are trying to be too unselfish. The elite guys are trying to overpass, particularly on the PP. This is why i was THRILLED to see 2 different units tonight. The PP looked awfully good tonight despite not scoring.

I like Asham, he's got some game to him, and can hit, and hes a nasty SOB.

Halpen and Rupp can GTFO

I wanna see Kreider back and eventually i want to see these lines:

Hagelin - Richards - Gaborik (we havent seen this ONCE yet, despite this trio dominating for the Rangers late last year)
Kreider - Stepan - Nash
Ferrerriorierrreirreorerririo - Arnott - Callahan
Pyatt - Boyle - Asham

Why does Boyle, the best defensive center on the team who is good for 10 to 15 goals a season in a normal year plus his hitting, get relegated to the 4th line because Arnott comes in? Doesn't make sense

Didn't Ferreiro play center and have a good game? Put him as 4th line center with Arnott on the wing or something. Anything to make Rupp and/or Asham a 13th forward.
