They should win this easy but they never seem to against Montreal.

Any win would be nice.

If Woll is in he needs to have his best game in a while.

Way back when I’d check the schedule in September for these games with great anticipation.
Now I hope something sparks this rivalry back into prominence.
Wouldn’t hate seeing Hildeby start tomorrow. Woll has been giving up some rebounds on pucks that he should absorb. He needs to sort that out.

I think you have to go to Hildebeast at some point here with Stolarz still a couple of weeks away, so, it might as well be on Saturday?

Hildeby the expected starter vs MTL.

Woll needs days off to give us .850 goaltending I guess. It made absolutely no sense to rush to sign him to that contract extension as an injury prone pending RFA.

Mtl just beat Dallas ( lost once in SO), washington, colorado, vancouver, florida tampa, vegas and utah in their last 10 games.

Don't think it will be easy, they actually play better hockey than leafs

Hoping they shove smoked meat down their throat. Slaf is so overrated by their fans but Hutson is fun to watch. Still wish the Leafs drafted his brother last year.

Leafs win. Habs miss the playoffs. All is good with the world

Montreal's little winning streak is going to come to a crashing thud tonight.

This will be a huge game for Matthews and Laine as they'll have a chance to join only a handfull of other top 2 draft picks that have been able to score 600 career goals combined. With 385 goals for Matthews and 214 goals for Laine they're now sitting at 599 goals combined. With a possibly combined 26+ seasons of hockey left to play they might not quite reach Ovechkin and Malkin with a combined total of 1380 goals right now, but should easily be able to lock down the number 2 spot amongst top 2 draft picks in goals scored. Hopefully Laine can find his game again and sign with my Leafs after his contract in Montreal is over, since Matthews and Laine are destined to play together. I mean both having huge lion tattoos on their shoulders can't be a coincidence, can it?

Plus Laine said he would like to play for the Leafs before getting drafted. You don't hear many players say that.

Would be nice to see these two join forces and summon the hockey gods in order to end the longest Stanley cup drought in NHL history and then get inducted into the Hall of fame together when it's all said and done!

The Perjorative Slured have been playing quite well lately, well enough to be in a playoff race. Not sure if we see the upstart Dobes in the net or Sambeault. Should really be a good one; can't wait!

LOL love the thread title. Revenge game for the 1-0 loss to start the season. Play Reaves, i want to see him create some havoc, if he still does that, does he still do that?
