Post-Game Talk: Leafs @ Perds It’s Saturday night in Suckville and I don’t care. 6 pm CDT

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

Well, after that start I am surprised but here we are enjoying some WINNER PIE! Fil and Vange you first but Juuse gets an honorable mention for second and third period. First, not so much.

As I told Mr Adz after some particularly boorish behavior by some of the visitors in and near our section, I don't care if it makes us fourth, I want to beat these guys. I am happy we won.

Go Preds!

That second and third may be the best string of hockey we have seen all season. Amazing what happens when you give Evangelista someone to play with. Svechkov with a heck of a game too and still only got 11 minutes of ice time.

Also  for McCarron having 16 minutes of ice time.
Yeah because the only thing stopping this roster from being a playoff team is giving the young kids more opportunities. It’s easy to pile on when things are in the shitter.

Fans on this board don’t even know what they want. They pretend to have predicted every single thing we are now seeing.

This board will need to be nuked in the next year or 2 based on the trajectory it is on.

The season is over, you give the kids more icetime because you can. They may be the future, none of these Vets are, almost all of them will be retired in the next 3-4 years.

You put them in situations and give them responsibilities now when the pain doesn't matter rather than doing it later and finding out they can't.

And yes sometimes people make the right call on things. It ain't like some of us haven't been watching hockey night in and night out for 30 dang years.
