There are 3 guys on that line, one of them is soon to be the highest paid player in the league. He shouldn't need anyone to make him better.Send Marner to the moon - he's lost his competitive edge. Used to make players around him better, now makes everyone worse
Yes he did, he started as the 3rd line center3rd line =/= 3rd line minutes... how is this a hard concept... also, no he didn't

Miss the guy on saturdays he used to rip ronCherry had enough warnings that the chicken Swede era was long long past.
Whether he was correct, in some of his assessments, was irrelevant.
Just can't do that today.
I do find it odd how Matthews is completely immune to criticism on this board while people in this thread have literally called for Marner to get injured and mocked him for blocking a shot. There are 3 guys on that line, one of them is soon to be the highest paid player in the league. Um, are you watching Brodie at all?Timmins has been awful so far
Just want to point out I was never talking about ice time or whose better. I was simply talking about "rope" for JT-Nylander. Their room for error is not the same as marner-matthews and I think they weren't allowed to grow properly together in the past. As soon as a hurdle arose, they are broken up instead of allowed to battle through it together. This is the first year he looks like he deserves more than Marner and he has more EVTOI than him... What other year was he better?
Not true made some nice smart moves at the beginning of the game at leastTimmins has been awful so far
