I imagine every team would like Matthews and they would be right however when the mix takes Marner away from playing like he has been since matthews has been gone and the rest of the group slacks off because they feel Matthews will get it done.
They are not bad players just a bad mix

I agree with the latter.

I hope Berube keeps them apart except for the odd time chasing a goal or the PP

Nearly impossible? Florida is giving up 5 a game it feels like lately and the Leafs have been playing really well (Sens game aside) I don't think it'll be a cake walk but nearly impossible is just ptsd talking (understandably so). Our D and goal tending will shine again.

Shaping up to be a disaster. Road game with too many guys playing above their station. Leafs needed to win the special teams battle and have Stolarz play a great game to have a shot and those two things very much aren’t happening.

It was obvious going in that this is a step too far for our injury depleted lineup.
