A game 3 result will go a long way in attributing to that. I feel the same, but they have to get it done... having stats that say you played well enough to get it done are useless at this point in the season.

Agree 100%. Hindsight is 20/20. We lost anyway. But it sure as hell would have hurt less if Bennett would have had his clock cleaned after that dickhead cheap shot takedown!

Bennett got nothing for hurting Sammy's leg, nothing for Bunting crosscheck except 5k and nothing for slamming Knies' head on ice? Ok more typical BS from Bettman. Mr Bettman expect to see a response that you really don't want to see. But I guess thats what Jacobs wants to see eh boss? Then you will give Wayner a lifetime ban from hockey. So sad and why da NHL league is completely disrespected by most.

Would have scratched Gio for Gus but Keefe doesn’t have the balls. Have to break up 88 and 91. Jarnkrok has been an absolute ghost, might as well give Kerfoot a shot higher.

Sticking with laff cuz he is a lot faster than zar.

11/7 is a mistake imo, Bottom d never really get chemistry or touch the puck enough to get rolling. Our forwards have been looking gassed later in th e periods so this will only amplify it. Just go 12/6 bring ZAR back and take Gio out
 
I would love for the Leafs to dress Simmonds to Hound Bennet.. but we seeing how we're down 2-0 it might not be worth the risk of him playing seeing as we would for sure be penalized for anything he does.


It sucks that the league allows teams to play dirty and loophole around the PPs given instead of the refs calling the game as it's suppose to be.

So many times this season we should of had 5 on 3s or game misconducts given out when other teams play dirty... It's like our games go through a different rule book
 
I have a feeling that Keefe will sit Liljegren, dress Holl and Gustafsson, and go 11-7.

It sucks that Knies is likely out for the series. Bennett needs to pay for that because it was dirty, blatant and intentional.

If the overwhelming sentiment is that was a suspendable act and the league did nothing, why do you support this league? And not just this incident, but there seems to be a large majority of people that think the league is anti Leaf

The Leafs obviously do not care or they would take the fine and rip the league a new one.

I don’t buy tickets or Leafs merchandise anymore, maybe you should all do the same

Ghost is a good word to describe Jarnkrok. I've barely heard his name mentioned for anything.

I haven’t bought any NHL merch for a long time. I support this team, not the league. It’s run by clowns that have no idea how to advance the league’s standing in North America and abroad. Zero business sense or marketing talent. God awful disciplinary committee that is often ripped by teams and reporters alike. I could go on and on about how inept the people in charge of this product are…

But you’re right in that it makes zero sense why this organization doesn’t flex its muscle in the slightest to create change considering they subsidize half the league. Even the Rangers organization, the richest team in terms of monetary valuation, publicly called out Parros and there was no change. It’s embarrassing how we’ve seen the same problems for years.

Yeah it's shitty but what can you do

Just keep competing hard and get bodies in front of Bob. We generated a lot of chances but I'm looking at the goals we scored, they're in tight lots of traffic in front of the net and guys crashing. We generated a shit ton of chances last game but he had a clean look at most of them, we'll need to start scoring those greasy goals we scored against Tampa.

Finish every check, lay Bennett the f*** out and compete for a full 60 minutes. We lost that game because of the first like 75 seconds of the 2nd period, that's it.

The NHL is a f***ing joke.

Sometimes I forget that the Leafs play in this sorry excuse for a league.

You have one of the best sports in the world here but it’s regulated and marketed by clowns.

Florida was sandbagging the entire regular season and then started to actually show their beastly colours in post season. That’s how to play 4d chess. Lol.
