They can still win this series lol. There are 2 key factors that will determine what happen for the rest of the games:

A.) Can the Leafs limit mental lapses?
B.) Can the stars finish?

So far they have done neither in both games and we're in a 0-2 hole because of it. If things start going the right way in game 3 I like our chances of winning
History says no and no.

In case anyone missed it, Knies has a concussion and will miss the next 2 games at a minimum.

Were down 2-0 but we controlled the puck and play better most of the games I feel. Last night we played 59 minutes but that 1 minute screwed us.

I feel we are the better team and can still win, but the Panthers have shown any mistake we make, they will capitalize on. There goalie has also stood on his head, with some luck on his side as we hit the post 3 times last night. Pretty much need to win both games in Florida to have a chance though, which is a very tall task.

With that cap hit, you have to play him and put him in a position where he can succeed. JT had trouble vs Tampa and now with a faster Florida team he's a ghost 5v5. Moving to the wing would shelter him and give him a chance to generate some offense.
I think the best thing to do is just hide him on the 4th line.

and somehow I feel our Leaf players should also be fined for not sticking up for Knies.
I find when a teammate stands up for a teammate the rest of the team comes together and rides off momentum as a team.

It’s hard because the league has made it that if the leafs retaliate our punishment will hurt us more than the original action. We retaliate we are on the PK and now it’s a 2 goal game. We retaliate we get the 1 game suspension because it’s premeditated.

They don’t retaliate fans think they are p***yes. It’s a lose lose situation

No surprise with the DOPS we all know they are bias against us. That’s been proven long ago. We need to pick someone who can take out Bennet and not be missed as we will 100 percent lose said player for a awhile via suspension. Prefer a clean open ice hit to take him out though.

Put 30 down on Toronto to win game 3. Their luck has run out, we're burying them moving forward.

The theme song for the rest of this series is "No more Mr. Nice guy".

On to the next one. I'm not worried.

Guessing they will take today off and practice tomorrow in Florida.

Any update on Knies? Any other injuries from last night?
Knies probably out for the series! Hopefully Bennett gets what’s coming to him! Is there anyone on the Marlies who can fight that we could bring up?

This core needs to understand that it's the last rodeo for them. They need to play to win and not to dominate. There's a difference and they have had ample opportunity to realize how you must play to win.

We'll find out if the core is worth the paper their words are written on next game. Anything other than the best effort will speak volumes. If they keep making poor "pretty hockey" decisions with puck management, it's over. Get ugly, get dirty, play smart and get back in the series.

We have no one who can kill anybody. I wish we had Colton Orr who would kill Bennet maybe gove him a meck break and die on the floor. What do you expect from these p***yes? They aren't going anywhere.
If there was anyone on the Marlies who could answer the bell, I would bring him up, even if it was just for game 3.

Knies is a huge loss. The team had 3 really balanced lines and that third line was looking great to start the game and was matching up perfectly against Florida's top six. I hope he comes back but that looked really bad. Maybe he's back for game 4 with the extra days in between, but if we're down 0-3 it's a moot point.

What kills me is that if Tampa advanced they probably sweep Florida (again).
Unfortunately, I believe he’s out for the series.
