Lol Timmins would be claimed by half the league. Mid 20’s RHD with a cheap contract this season and next, why would Toronto give up that asset for nothing?

There is something to be said about staying in a rhythm as well. You can't just sit him until playoffs and throw him in cold. I imagine Sammy will be in vs the Rangers as well to keep him hot.

The ATO guy should just play the remaining games anyway. Samsonov is clearly not 100%.

Very good first period for Knies. You can see the kernels of a great power forward with size and skill. I’ll trust the Leafs to do the right thing after the three games.

Samsonov looks really solid but man are we ever taking a big chance with our playoff goalie. Second game in a row where he’s been shaken up.

I agree about Brodie, the giveaways and being muscled off the puck. It’s not just tonight, it’s been going on for a while that he hasn’t looked good.
