Tavares will be a hero in Toronto for the rest of his life if they can win a cup with him on the team. I hope it happens. He gets a bad rap here but he’s had some amazing clutch moments as a leaf.

I hope he makes the 4 nations cup. He was huge for Canada at the WC last spring

This team has a big time hole in the lower end of the lineup. They need to get them going.

This one really is extra satisfying given the BS with the reviews. Leafs showed some real pushback tonight.

It's crazy how Tavares just continues to score and put up points in spite of how many people across the league and in Leafs nation crap on the guy.

Definitely the most underappreciated goal scorer of his generation, guy's a better scorer than Kessel or Kane (in terms of goals per game production) and will end up as a Top 50 goal scorer of all time.

Pretty impressive for a guy with his skating ability in by far the fastest era of hockey history
