Liljegren is the best D we have for that thankfully... I don't mind a Timmins/Gio pairing as 3rd pair though

I’m over the good they do. They make so many stupid decisions and are so weak on 50/50 pucks that I think their value should be used to fix things.

Their “good” doesn’t outweigh their “bad” to me anymore.

For example…I’m not saying that a guy like Robertson is better. Of course Willy and Mitch are way more skilled. But Robertson doesn’t make stupid errors on clearing the puck or just moving it up the boards.

Willy and Mitch do. Every single game, more than once.

You've hit the nail on the head as to why it's painful to watch this team these days... Very very frustrating... I don't see it changing in the near future as there's a fear of trading one of the big 3 and we have a coach who is scared to make them answerable for their chronic mistkes and lack of effort. Somehow our pond hockey team gets enough wins but we should be a lot better.
