You laugh, but there is something to that. We cannot say that this team excels in tough situations... in fact they have been failing miserably.

I feel it is something this group would not be adverse to. Shanahan played for Scottie (obviously), so why not try something like that. I also like the mixing it up so players are comfortable playing with everyone else on the roster... when that moment comes for whatever reason, everyone should be more comfortable and more confident.

I don't know man. Doesn't look like that is what Keefe is trying to do.

If you read Shanny's full interview he also mentions how Bowman would change things up when they were doing well to create adversity so that they don't get complacent.

So far Keefe's only "change" seems to be the matthews-marner and tavares-nylander flip. if he was really trying to create a bit of adversity so that this team doesn't get complacent you would see a lot of different things every now and then
