When I started working out I started with Pullups, Dips, Pushups, Hand Stand Pushups, Single leg squats, Hanging leg raises, HIIT and I got in really good shape doing that.

Yeah it's amazing what strong core muscles can do .. Probably one of the reasons why I can lift so much now compared to what I used to, because I have gone crazy on getting my core in shape.

Exactly. It's hidden strength, but it's so important. One of my uncles has just a Pejorative Slured core, he can almost lift the side of a car :laugh:

I tell people that before they even think about lifting free weights or machines to always start with getting in shape with Bodyweight exercises and other core work because when they get into lifting it will help them out so much more.

Man I didn't want to sleep all day today lol I set my alarm for 12 but I guess I didn't get up oh well :( also DD I'm checking out your vid it looks good so far

Thanks alot boys. Will just stick to Cardio and Pushups/Situps, and some dumb bells. Will do more weight training after losing some weight and building a little core strength.

EDIT: And most importantly, am eating healthy now :P

yeah Diet is the absolute most important thing, no matter what your goals are your diet is basically like 85-90% of what will change your body whereas most people I have talked to and trying to lose weight or bulk up disregard diet and just eat crappy foods but focus everything into lifting weights :biglaugh:

This'll make you lose weight the fastest, especially if you just cut out fast food and junk food

My roommate is a piece of work when it comes to eating .. He doesn't eat vegetables, rarely eats fruit .. His version of a "healthy" meal he makes himself is him frying a chicken breast or pork chop in butter in a pain in honey garlic sauce, while having a mound of rice with soy sauce ... If you've used those boxed of minute rice, you know they have the portion sizes on the side per cup .. He probably eats 6-8 people's worth of portion size in a sitting (like he did last night) .. It's actually kind of disgusting

Worst thing is if we do have meals together or anything, he refuses to eat anything that I'd make that contains vegetables .. Literally refuses a free meal because it has veggies in it :facepalm:

.. He orders chicken fried rice as "chinese food" (which is really white-people chinese food :laugh: - my girlfriend's words, not mine) .. And he asks for no veggies, just the chicken and rice :facepalm:

Main way to lose weight is Calories Out > Calories In.

This man gets it. Everyone tries to make it so complicated but it is almost as simple as that. There are better ways of losing weight and improving your diet and workout regimen but this is the main thing to focus on.

My diet right now is less healthy, mainly meats and calorie dense carbs and fats but that is because I am bulking up right now and i need to be able to eat a lot of calories. I keep it relatively clean and healthy though but I am eating a minimal amount of fruits and vegetables but when I am done bulking I eat very strict.
