I hate having soup. I associate it with being sick since that's the only time I have it.

I only like rice if its spicy or has added flavour like bacon bits/olives/Etc

Yea, plain rice sucks, unless you are eating it with something that has strong flavor. I like fried rice/flavored rice though.

I know, I know  I had him on my HF fantasy draft roster. He was my #5. So don't hate.
That's where he should be lol

Exactly
I can eat rice with just soya sauce, but wow soya sauce is bad.

I ****ing hate soya sauce. Way too salty and tastes nasty. It's alright in stir fry though since the taste is minimal

So 151.1 feet (height of Statue of Liberty) is equal to 1812 inches. You add the EXTRA inch that they have added for no apparent reason, and you get 1813 inches. 1813 divided by 7 (the lucky number of the Statue) gives you 259. 2+5+9 = 16. 1 + 6 = 7. Mind = blown.

If you don't add the extra inch, the number isn't divisible by 7 and then you don't even get that number. They added that extra inch for this reason.

There's 4 columns on each side on the base of the tower. 4 sides x 4 columns on each side = 16. 1+6 = 7. The windows on her head there are 25 of them total. 2+5=7. There are 16 leaves around the ring on the torch. 1+6=7. It's absolutely mind blowing. It's almost done uploading.

I love reading or watching vids about that stuff

Soya Sauce is good with Stir Fry, as Phion said. I used to use it all the time in Ottawa, while cooking ma noodles. Plain, it's disgusting.

Looking for some advice to LL gym goers - I'm looking at losing some weight, and getting toned. Don't wanna build too much muscle basically.

My plan right now is to do cardio for 30 mins, and then do some weights 3-5 nights a week. Not sure what kind of weights to use, or what weight/reps to use either. Was thinking of starting with some dumbells after the cardio. Need some suggestions on exactly what kind of weight excercises I should be looking at, and how much weight you guys think is good for a beginner. I've never done any weight training before.

My advice for cardio .. Do interval running.. Basically instead of a paced run for 30 straight minutes, I do a brisk walking pace for 5 minutes to warm up following by 3-4 repetitions of sprinting for 1 minute then jogging for 2 minutes, then going right back to the sprint .. So you're going hard for a good 10-12 minutes .. And then cool down for 10-15 minutes with a brisk paced walk .. It's really good.

I'm probably not the best knowledge wise when it comes to weights, but it's good to alternate sets of upper body/core/lower body .. I don't work my legs out at all, so my routine I do a superset (back to back without any rest time) of an upper body exercise and then a core exercise before a work out.

I like to start with the basics, like push ups, sit ups, chin ups, dips .. Natural stuff to help you be able to handle your own body weight and build your stabilizer muscles in your arms and legs.

Oh and if you're using weights, use freeweights and dumb bells .. Avoid the universal machines, they're not good for you

Pretty much this. Depending on your body type, you should already have some decent core muscles. If you stick to cardio and keep your fat levels down you'll look pretty toned either way.

You need to try to spread your weight training through out body parts during the week. You don't need to be lifting any serious weights, and make sure that if you're struggling to just lower the weight. There's no need to hurt yourself, specially if you're just looking to stay toned.

Yeah, and to follow up I suggest using lower weight amounts and going for more repetitions in a set than a heavy weight with a few reps .. Helps toning a lot more

And kind of like Bert said earlier, you can really stick to not even using machines or anything like that. Using your own body weight is one of the best ways to do start. Building core muscles are very important and will help all around.

When I started working out I started with Pullups, Dips, Pushups, Hand Stand Pushups, Single leg squats, Hanging leg raises, HIIT and I got in really good shape doing that.

Yeah it's amazing what strong core muscles can do .. Probably one of the reasons why I can lift so much now compared to what I used to, because I have gone crazy on getting my core in shape.
