For those who have done it, was the G driving test hard at all?

I didn't find it tough, I can still kind of remember mine.

Get out of the parking lot merging into traffic, moving over a lane and doing a left hand turn where I did a 3 point turn (this could also be a U turn but wasn't for my test) followed by an emergency road side stop. I then went on the highway for a brief period before exiting and did a bit of neighbourhood driving where I did a parallel park (with only the car in the front) before going back to the parking lot.

Feel like I am missing something but that was the gist. Just overstate checking your mirrors, I know I lost some marks on that because I wasn't physically turning my head to look out them. I think I also lost some marks for not having my left signal on long enough before switching lanes (there was pretty much nobody on that road at that time). I also lost marks for not using the emergency/hand brake during the emergency stop thing. I was worried that I would have to back into a parking spot coming back but I was just told to pull into one on the side. I backed out of my spot at the start, maybe that was good enough for them?

not hard. failed the first time because the tester was a bitter old man. showed up with a driving school car, did everything exactly the same as my first try and aces the test. they see that sign up top and it's like "oh he's paying to use the car? better pass him"

...old jerk...cost me 75 bucks cuz he's miserable

The contact isn't the problem. It's the fact that hitting isn't properly taught.

Now kids will be 13 when they start hitting (some kids bigger and stronger then others) and won't know how to hit (just like now) and there will be even more injuries.
