Dawn till 11:59am is day. From there till about 5 or 6 is usually afternoon. Evening after that will about 10. That's how I've always seen it.

A day is 24 hours, an afternoon is around 4-5 hours

Opening shift, like 7AM-3PM then days (Closing shift) 3PM-11PM then overnights (11PM-7AM) That's how it was for me.

Boardwalk Empire is pretty good. I've only watched the first 2 seasons though. Its HBO so the acting is top notch , and if you like the 1920s-30s era/ prohibition you'll enjoy it . A lot better shows out there though imo.

I am on the last episode of House of Cards so I will need some backup entertainment till the release of the next season. With Californication, Game of Thrones, Vikings and others still not released I need backup entertainment to get me through the week. Doesn't help that True Detective and TWD are both on a sunday schedule

Yep. But my school week is only 2.5 days long. Went for the quick sharp pain school schedule.

Honestly though, that is the better choice. Frees up some time to do some studying and work on assignments. Unless of course you procrastinate as much as I do
