Got absolutely no idea how I'm going to do on a midterm this Saturday. We've had 2 assignments so far that I've gotten 30/30 + 26/30 on with a little work which makes it seem like I know what's going on, but every class I am utterly lost and confused.

I used to.. I was quite good at stats when I was in school, now all that is gone

I think it would help a lot if he put lecture notes online, but all he does is handwrite stuff on the chalkboard each class in hard to read writing. I'll pull through...

I had taken part 1 of this course a couple years ago, didn't like it then so wasn't going to take part 2. Change my module and now I need to, hate it :( And I forget all this stuff but since most people took part 1 last semester it's pretty much expected that you remember this stuff which is fine for pretty much everyone but me.

Look who finally decides to show up.

I was busy all weekend .. Hibernated from our -30 (-40 windchill) cold snap at my girlfriends, my grandpa (my last living grandparent) passed away Sunday so I took yesterday off (which was also my girlfriend's birthday) and we went skiing in the mountains

Saw your Dallas Smith tickets .. Jealous ... Just found out today Keith Urban is playing the Stampede - I got an insider password for the presale tomorrow, crossing my fingers I can get some tickets

Thanks bud.. It's my third grandparent to pass in the last 18 months .. It's sad and it sucks, but you get to a point where you're just tired of being sad .. Still tough though

Not going home for the funeral .. I can't find a flight for under $950 (both ways), including bereavement fares from the major airlines .. Absolutely ludicrous, I'm tempted to write a stern letter

Proofs in math are the most annoying and frustrating thing :(

****ing induction man. So ****ing frustrating. Not only that, but I now am programming with recursion, which is basically ****ing induction :help:

Bijections and cardinality though... The worst. The absolute ****ing worst proofs **** ever :cry::help:

In my advanced linear algebra class, for a project our proof gives us a concept that isn't learned in the course, and we have to solve a proof for said concept, and then an example of it :shakehead. Why did I take this class haha, I didn't even need it.

I understand that airlines do it because they simply can, particularly in last minute circumstances, but in these types of instances I think it's pretty criminal they'd charge that much

Simply put I could write a letter saying I've lost three grandparents in the last 18 months, only being able to attend one funeral because your last-minute charges and bereavement fares are outlandish .. The only time I was able to attend one of my grandparents funerals was because it was coincidental with a vacation with a flight I had booked a few months prior .. See if that gains any traction.
