People who speak excessively loud on the phone drive me off the chains.

Keep your ****ing voice down.

 The worst is when people come through drive thru, and they are screaming when they don't need to.

Or the people on like the bus / in the bank / somewhere public and they are just screaming on the phone. Some girl in the bank one time.. So annoying.

I can understand why they do it though. I very rarely go to a drive thru, but I remember in the past they would always repeat my order back to me and usually some of it is wrong. Also, depending on far from the voicebox/speaker people park, there may be quite a distance between the two, and also outside noises to interfere a bit. Speaking loud ensures that you get the order correct and time isn’t wasted, efficiency is kinda why people go to the drive thru after all. But yeah, I can see how that can be annoying for you.

Which location do you work? I’ll go to the drive thru and shout out like 20 orders of sandwiches to you in the middle of your peak periods :P

Actually, the reason why most places repeat the order back is to ensure they can finish your order faster. So the more time you waste at the box confirming your order, the more time they have to make your order. It's the secret to good times in the drive thru.

I notice that Tim Hortons has like a little time counter for drive thru times, I’m guessing that’s what you’re referring to?

Anyone have any idea how to stream HD Leafs games during the season?

Not this past season, but the two before that I had ordered the online Leafs TV thing- it was fantastic, roughly $40, got every game except CBC in HD.

But it doesn't look like that's available anymore. So ****. I can't afford to dish out like $200 for gamecenter- I don't need to watch other teams' games in HD.

Anyone have any idea? Appreciate any insight.

Yes. They time how long you're at the box, how long you're in the queue, how long you're at the window. The new average time needs to be under 30 seconds for peak hours at the window. So they'll take their time at the box in order to maintain this average at the window.

Thanks brother.

That was the greatest sales pitch I've ever heard in my life. Well done BiItz. #freeBiItz

I read that and started using HockeyStreams. It's legit awesome, during streams, there's a live chat and guys are online all the time to help with the stream and make sure you get it working. It's awesome.

Yeah and they send the #'s into headquarters and what not.

My place always sat at around ~20 seconds during peak hours. We were pretty damn good :P

It's not that easy. Some people are so slow at counting change and now with the debit and credit cards, it takes even longer.

No I know. Some people you get through in like 7 seconds, other people take like 2 minutes.

Then you get the paninis which take longer...

And then you get customers yelling at you because they had to wait 3 minutes.

I always just shut the drive-thru door on them when they were yelling. Ain't nobody got time for that ****.

Yeah I find a lot of time at the box, person will take your order then be like "be right back" Then they come back 30 seconds later and say out the order back to me if it is right and then I say yes and we move on lol

Yea the worst is definitely at a workplace while others are trying to work.
