True story: You can totally bomb out of school in your first semester. It's so easy to get distracted with all the things going on that are new and exciting and especially at a school like Ryerson right in downtown. Have fun but be smart. :)

How do you get it up 3 percent. And what was the course/mark needed?
Not 3 percent, 3 marks which is only 0.5 percent. I just emailed all my teachers and my guidance councilor and my Chemistry teacher said she was alright with bumping that mark up the three marks. I needed an 80 and the course is Electrical Engineering.

Wait, you just emailed your teachers saying I need this mark to get in so can you bump my mark? And they did it? That's ridiculous and I'm pretty sure illegal

At my school if you were going to finish with a 79, and the teacher knew you needed an 80 to get into your course they'd bump up the mark if they thought you actually were trying in the course, and not just mailing it in.

Multiple of my grade 12 teachers said at the start of the semester they wouldn't change your mark, be bribed etc because that would be fraud and unfair when it comes to scholarsips, acceptances etc

What's the difference between doing that and upping someone's mark to pass them?(which happens all the time)

I haven't heard of that happening to anyone in my grade. But its the same thing I agree

Well when I was in highschool if you failed but your mark was over 40% but you were a good student and the teacher liked you they would boost your mark up to 50% to pass you.
