Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose to Canucks 3-0

We have a head coach, an assosiate coach, and a PP coach. None can figure out this PP

It’s the players. How many coaches do we have to go through before the finger pointing is squarely on the four 10+ million dollar men and sometimes Rielly? They suck, and it’s the same issues every f***ing season and postseason. f*** me I wish they’d well and truly split up the cOrE fOuR across two units and leave it like that for a long stretch, hell the rest of this season. It can’t be any worse than the shit we’ve been watching.

Your top six isn’t going to score every game. In the ones they can’t, you expect your bottom six to create energy and get a greasy one or two
Sure, but far too often in many games our top 6 hasn't looked very threatening and get shutdown farily easily especially in the playoffs where we need them the most.

If this team wants to get anywhere in the playoffs it will always be up to them to lead the way which is why if Brad wants to make a trade that will make an impact it will have to be for a big piece and not some 3rd or 4th liner that will make a moderate impact at best.

Inexcusable effort. It looked like we were the ones who played 4 in 6 and last night. Hildeby really is an AHL goalie at this point. Difference in this game was our inept PP. Hardly shot at the net. Rielly just sucks so bad at the point.

Yes, but teams pay special attention to the top six because they know the bottom six won’t score. If you had a useful bottom six, you’d have other teams spread their top defensive players ice time throughout the lineup and create more easy matchups for the top six

Can’t blame injuries on this one. McCabe ain’t an offensive piece and no goalie, not even Stolarz, can score. Hildeby is blameless as far as I’m concerned. Guess he could’ve had the third one but Sherwood was all alone on the edge of the slot. Pathetic coverage by the team on that one that sealed the deal.

Can we get our top six to score maybe every other game? I mean $50m.

They’ve been good most season. Just for shits. 41 wins (82 points) wouldn’t get you in the playoffs. They have don’t their fair share IMO it’s def the bottom six

I said after the second win over Philly (Toronto's fifth straight win) that I didn't like how the Leafs were playing, and that didn't go over too well.

This has to be the most frustrating Leafs team in a while. This team really struggles to create offense at times and has difficulty maintaining possession in the attacking zone and doesn't control the play that well.

In past years, the Leafs were generally good for some blowout wins that were fun to watch, but this season they seem to have a hard time in one form or another against every team they face. I don't know... if they can win their division, they might win a round. But I'm not too optimistic they'll go deep.
