Post-Game Talk: Leafs lose to Canucks 3-0

Why is this team so bad on Saturday nights? 5 losses over the last 6 Hockey Nights in Canada. Just shitting the bed every weekend for a national audience.

How they bring out those same 5 guys and/or the same 5 forwards again and again and again just to watch them suck.. I can’t explain it. Bench them and play the second unit.
 
What a dreadful, dreadful game. Nobody looked good tonight. Brutal. Had nothing all day.

I'd tell McMann, Nicky Bobby, Kampf, Dewar, Knies Benoit, Tanev, Hildeby, Timmins and Myers to take tomorrow off and chillax and bag skate the names I mentioned earlier.

The good news is that Canada is a lock to win the 4 Nations next month. Everyone is worried about Team USA but I'm not at all concerned about any team with Matthews as one of its leaders. Has never won a thing in his career and isn't about to start now.

Your top six isn’t going to score every game. In the ones they can’t, you expect your bottom six to create energy and get a greasy one or two

When your top six bends you over the negotiating table, they do in fact need to score every game. It's literally their fault that the team can't buy a better supporting cast. :laugh:

Our PP sucks bc of lack of movement. The guys were not moving their feet. When our PP is clicking, the boys were moving.
The other thing is the AM effect, he needs to take the shot instead of just shooting on net when there is an opening. It is no coincidence that the second unit despite having like 20secs or so looks more dangerous at time as they just attack the net.
They need to take shots on net but instead they want to make the perfect setup.
 
Have you ever zoned out for a few moments while driving and gone into autopilot before realizing that you're supposed to be paying attention?

Thats what it felt like watching this game, just a slow burn. Was anybody good? I kinda remember Robo running around.

Hockey hypnosis type of game.

Most negotiations start high, ours just end there. It’s not on them to manage the cap. Their job in a negotiation is to get the most money.

I'd tell McMann, Nicky Bobby, Kampf, Dewar, Knies, Benoit, Timmins and Myers to take tomorrow off and chillax and tell the other guys I listed we practice at 8 AM.

As a Steeler fan, I'm going 0 for 2 tonight and don't think either team will break the shutout.

I don’t know. It appears they’ve made a decision to move away from Saturday home games. This year the Leafs scheduler is treating Saturday night is like it’s Wednesday
