Another game and here we go again with concerns about team effort. I know it’s only 8 games but when can we start being concerned?

Ugh, great 3rd period wasted with a garbage OT. 3v3 OT is about keeping possession, WTF were Nylander and Marner doing with their “take on the whole team and turn it over” rushes? That’s straight up dumb play.

On the bright side, Matthews and Marner were better overall. But man, waste of a good comeback. Also played terrible in the 2nd period.

And the prototype of a typical Toronto loss. Give up a goal quickly, half-arse their way to a tie, then a brutal turnover pass in the offensive zone and the goalie can't bail them out.
