Marchand LICKED us again. I hate that prick. Good to see Samsonov fight for his job. Decent game, hope Lily is okay that looked ugly.

It will be a fun year.

However, with our current D corp, 3C and 4th line - this team is going ……. Nowhere.

- I dunno if Tom Wilson will be made available at the deadline but I'd ask for him if I was Treliving. He's in the last year of his deal, is from Toronto so he'd probably waive his NTC for us and can play Top 6 minutes plus is a dirty player who injures others and can fight.
- Domi, Bertuzzi, Klingberg, Kampf, Reaves all collectively had nothing for us tonight. Those guys were all Treliving signings and I don't see three of them coming back next year. The other two that are are only because of their stupid contracts.

Positively, after a dreadful start the team played well enough for the most of the game. This was Sammy's best game of the season - if he plays like this from here on out, we'll be in great shape.

The "Reaves is a deterrent" argument isnt holding up well though.

Most negatively, there seems to be a growing divide of sorts between Keefe and Bertuzzi. That's two games in a rows he's been benched......

I didn't like the commitment to mediocrity when it was Dubas, but I understood it. These core players were his guys and Keefe was his coach. With Treliving, it's just baffling. Stepping in as the new guy in town in a market desperate for a fresh start and he has just taken the same general concept we've seen fail over and over again but just made it worse

Do you think they only had one minute of offense? It was an evenly played game... we have been terrible over the first 9 games, but this game looked like we had some structure and some decent pushes, let's hope they build on that.

Nylander with the very stupid penalty in OT. Might as well have put Domi on the ice in OT.

I'll take the point, however our Leafs should be once again embarrassed losing to a predominately AHL D-fence. If the D was the other way around, our Leafs get shellacked IMHO.

Oh, and if anyone needs a blad ... never mind, I don't need to be banned !!! I just hope Liljegren
won't be out too long.
 
Hahahah Mathews in the post game interview beings asked about Lilly injury. His response is you never like seeing something like that……….then do something about it. He us the lamest superstar ever. No heart and no courage

2/6 points in the last 3. But let's take all the moral victories we can against a team without Bergeron, Krejci, Grzelcyk, and McAvoy. Good work.

Nothing so he’s getting paid to not do his job it’s insane please trade him now put a sweetener on it if need be and paccage him with klinger and get tanev and peeke

Even if they won this game the lack of response to Nylander hit earlier in the season, the lack of response to Lily this game - makes this team SOFT which = Early playoff exit. Of course, at this rate they may not make the playoffs

Nah, they played hard about 5 minutes into the second and then right to the end.

Agree with the lack of team spirit (re. Timmy). That is the MOST concerning thing to me.

The new guys have not fit in at all so far, other then Gregor. Bert, Domi and Reaver are deadweight. At least Klinger makes a play here or there... not good in our zone though.

I mean, who didn't know we were losing that shootout? Lame.
