Against Ottawa, Florida is a whole different beast, especially when the game is on the line.

The current champs, the Panthers went 2-2 in OT when the game is on the line last year on their way to a Cup.

Leafs are 2-1 up in the series. Looks like they've been fairly ruthless.

Woll deserves criticism but man it’s a bit harsh right now.

I wish he’d gotten into the the Ottawa series. The Leafs had a good rotation going and just sticking with Stolie has had gotten Woll out of rhythm. A bit of deer in headlights right now.

The problem is, the whole reason the Leafs decided to go to Stolarz to start the playoffs is because Woll's last few regular season games looked EXACTLY like this...

Can't think like that in a series. You're right mathematically, but the moment you think you have a second crack at making it 3-1 and feel relief, you're down 3-2 in a series. I mean the players, whatever we think doesn't matter.

at some point you have to point the finger at Matthews for being the guy who is not clutch. 4 nations best on best he was invisible. Great he is playing a 200 foot game and great in his D zone but for $14 mil he needs to take over games

There hasn't been a playoff series where you said even if they lost the series that Matthews was the best player. You can say that about McDavid.

He’s gotta just not play the game like he’s got his head up his ass. There was just a lot of sloppy and unfocused play from Woll, including playing the puck awfully. Truly displayed some dick head level goaltending.

Me either. He was just doing his job. We complain he doesn't cover his man enough and when he does we blame him for a goal taking a flukey bounce off his pants. For all we know if he just stood there doing nothing, it gets tipped in with a stick instead.

He can’t use his greatest asset from the all the years of his career, his shot, for whatever reason. I seriously doubt it’s mental, whatever it is wrist, back who knows? Didn’t go to Germany for a brain scan I don’t think. Still doggedly contributing, not as much in the way we’d all like , but giving his all

Even if they get to the final, I don’t think Florida wins the Cup this year without Tkachuk.
Also looks like Bob is back and they look like they’ll win this series but it probably goes seven but that will take too much of a toll.
