They don’t have much to work with? They have most of the crucial pieces.
Might want to update your info from the pre-season.
What This Means for You:
Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.
In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord ServerThey don’t have much to work with? They have most of the crucial pieces.
Is there really lots to work with. Do you think any coach or GM could get thru to this disgusting core. They play the way they want to when they want to and nothing will ever change that ………everThat was always a schedule loss.
If the Preds hire coach Q this summer they’ll be a contender next year. Lots to work with.
Kampf wasn’t bad imoKnies, Woll, Kampf and of course Rielly..bad games with game changing impact.
That 2nd line would get absolutely crushed. Zero defensive awareness between the 3 of them.I agree. The problem is we don't have a proper 3c.
I'd try and give Tavares and Laughton a go. They both play that boring cycle game, and Laughton can play that puck retriever role and feed Tavares in the slot and put McMann with them for speed who can also cycle the puck. Then put Nylander with Domi and Robertson. That line had some success when Matthews was out.

re-signing marner is the worst thing they could do.
i guarantee you marner is going to shit the bed like he always does in the playoffs. marner is not playoff material

Nice goal but this guy is the last guy to go into the corners. Likes to hang back and let his line mates do the heavy lifting. He will be roasted if he is signed after another poor playoff performance. He knows it and it is why he gets out of Dodge.re-signing marner is the worst thing they could do.

They are working to temper expectations. They have mastered that at least.thought this teams was turning a bit of a corner, than this masterpiece happened lol
I think some team will offer him more, I guess the 8th year is a thing, but pure AAV I think someone pays more than the leafs, just a feeling though, there are a some desperate Gms and owners trying to sell their teams, and save there own asses with cap space to make splash.Marner's best hope in leaving Toronto is to go ride on someone else's coattails to a championship, but he also wants the bag which will likely price him out of any competitive situation.
In Evil’s defence, he expected an easier game…I know right... "the preds have a terrible team on the ice and on paper." who said that again? lol
Shanny is dumber than a bag of rocks to realize this or is trying to save his ass. He's still got a pulse though.
I think Shanny knows full well these guys will never win anything. But he became a corporate shill, just in it to sell some jerseys.

I really don't think the Leafs will let him leave. I think they will give him the contract that he wants, and he will stay.Nice goal but this guy is the last guy to go into the corners. The MoFo cost us Rantanen which would have given this team the change to the core they needed.
You don’t need him for a long time just a short time.Patches looked finished last year with the Caps so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
This team may need a hydrogen bomb if they are punted in round 1 or 2.Team needs a complete management and supporting staff firing, clean house after this season ends.
Everyone gone
You thought they played well? What positives do we have to chat about? Marner scored 2 points in a losing effort? Woll made some stops? PP scored? You are free to post positive thoughts for others to feed off of.Not a great game, or effort…but…
Gotta love this toxic fanbase.
My least fav thing about being a Leaf fan, is the 90% of Leafs fans.
Continue on, whipping your whipping boys.
In my opinion, these guys are completely incapable of playing 60 minutes of desperation hockey.
"run it back" lolThis team may need a hydrogen bomb if they are punted in round 1 or 2.
Ya that was way back when we thought this group was going to be great instead of a bunch of spoiled losersRemember when Matthews scored #40 in the last game of his rookie year and McElhinney made that great save on Crosby to get them into the playoffs on the final weekend of the season? Those were fun times.
