Despite their superstar salaries, 34 & 16 were nothing players once again.

This team, as currently (not) lead by our core 4, will NOT win f*** all in the playoffs.

The Hawks, despite injuries, and a 5 game losing streak, won a game they should never have won if the Leafs were a GOOD team mentally and physically.

Oh well, some will be happy with the 1 point. I just wish the Hawks had embarrassed our Leafs with a win in regulation.

The lowly Hawks, vying for another top 5 draft pick, swept the season series from our Leafs !!!

when marner is playing like this its hard to get that line going, its alot of one and done its not allowing them to have any real sustained pressure in the offense zone to get advantages and get the defense scrambling, you want knies on that line because he can retrieve pucks but instead of dumping it in and letting him go get it, they are leaning WAY to much on the fancy stuff and its constantly getting turned over and brought back out quickly with them going the wrong way.

AM/Marner need to be better

Tavares is a ghost when Willie isn't dominating

and in saying this which was a part of why we lost i still need to give special mention to McCabe for throwing out a brutal pass which was intercepted for the trying goal

The first samsonov goalie was brutal.
The rest were pretty fluky tbh. Blind pass by lagesson, full on slot give away, weird as f*** overtime winner.
Not his best game but those were some tough spots where you hope you get a save but it’s not a guarantee.

Trade them for all I care now.

Far too many games when they're not a factor at all. Too much salary tide up in these two slackers IMHO.

Taveras needs to go as well !!!

I think the issue is matthews and Marner themselves. We’ve tried a few different combos and nothings stuck, maybe swap Marner nylander or something.

He’s a 24 year old goalie with 3 career wins..he’s had a .894 as his best. He’s a journey man who’ll be forgotten in a couple of years

If that’s what your director thinks then he shouldn’t have the job

24 y old is pretty young for a goalie.
