No if they listened, they would know they need to throw the fans a few good playoff runs to keep the hope alive.


Jokes aside, Marleau and Thornton at least won some rounds. I think we're all understating just how terrible this team has been. It's honestly staggering.

The Leafs are 27th in xGF% since December 1st, that's over 40 games of being a bottom tier team. Just for comparison, Florida is first in the NHL during that timeframe

Say what you want about the roster, it should never be a bottom 5-6 team in terms of chance generation. The coaching has been horrific and an awful fit for this team.

We've been skating by on elite goaltending for a while. Now that it's come down to earth we're being exposed for what we really are. A bad team

When there’s no room there’s not much they can do. With Matthews slowed even more it’s almost impossible for him.

In all honesty, playing 4 of 7 games on the road in a much better gameday atmosphere might get the players juiced rather than playing at SBA.

Very true. We’re probably another 3-4 games like last night away from having a serious conversation about that. Could you imagine the chaos within the org if they don’t even make it I kind of wish it happened so this management group could actually make big changes to the core group

Yeah obviously nobody can predict the future. What most people do figure though is that the team is showing the exact identical problems they've shown the last 8 years which has resulted in garbage. I get it you were sort of all in on the whole Keefe being the entire problem and how Berbue is going to transform the entire team but it just hasn't been the case at all.

You can't look at this last stretch of games and think that the team is just going to magically elevate their play to a cup-worthy level in the postseason.

This is probably exactly what they will do…
