It won't even feel good winning this series at this point. Anytime I get remotely excited about this team they quickly remind me why that is so f***ing stupid.

100% with you. All the Habs need to do is bide their time and wait for someone, anyone, to make a dumb mistake to hand them the game winning chance. Doesn't even matter who it was.

Yet again, the big guns shoot blanks. I feel Dubas has done all the right things to give this core the tools to get it done. The problem that is becoming sadly apparent, the CORE is the problem. I said when we lost JT we were not winning this series... I stand by that.

Cannot wait for the post game 'lesson' comments... lessons only matter when you apply them f***-tards... you have NOT applied any that you 'learned' from the past 4 seasons... but, oh, NOW you are... right right right... yea cool cool.

TO played well in OT, they deserved a better fate. Deflection off a screen, chance for soup.
Moral of the story, start on time, play more than 10 minutes and score first. It's that easy!!!
Leafs will win this Monday. No way Habs carry this adrenaline 3 games in a row.

Guys Campbell played well but the end was a choke by him too. You have to make big saves to win, he's let in the first scoring chance in OT in back to back games.

It's not his fault, but if that's what you're gonna do expect to lose a lot.
It was a deflected shot? What is he supposed to do there? lol

Yup. Price, on the other side of the ice, was in complete control.

I knew once we were finally playing decent hockey in OT we would still lose. I’ve come to terms with it. We’re cursed. Might as well just laugh about it.

> Marner has cracked mentally, awful game
> Matthews playing soft, doesn't want it
> Campbell was very good, without him this ends like 6-0
> Nylander was good, so was Kerfoot but they aren't getting enough ice time
> Dermott sucks, awful game from beginning to end. I don't want to see him again
> Bogosian was solid
> Hyman and Foligno where useless
> If you aren't going to play Thornton in OT, why play him at all?
> So much panic overall. They don't have the mental makeup for playoffs success.

How about Spezza, seems like the only one with heart on this team.

This franchise needs to perform some reverse voodoo or something. You guys are trying to rationalize it, there really is no rationalizing this franchise. 17 years without a 1st round win. Year after year of game 7 loses, bad giveaways or breaks resulting in goals. Just 1 f***ing game, it would nice to get a break that sees us through; haven't had it for 4 game 7(1 of them really a game 5) in a row. But they can't. If Matthews didn't get his stick caught on Weber tonight, it's game. If someone gets a fortunate bounce, it's game. We can't do it. Haven't done it for the last 5 years. We are f***ing cursed. We just are. You can try to make sense of it, you can get mad, but it's just a reality. We're cursed. Only logical thing to do is accept it. We're probably done in game 7 because that's the script the hockey gods love writing for us.

These guys don't do well under pressure and all the pressure is on them for game 7.
