Very frustrating game from Toronto tonight. They went into their typical form of not battling and taking the night off with a break on the way.

The difference was in the 3rd period, Vancouver turned it up before the break, and Toronto just played the same way.

Seems like in recent games we've played against them, the Nucks have had the Leafs number and has been able to shutdown our offense pretty effectively much of the time. When was the last time the Leafs put up a bunch of goals against them?

Credit to them, the Canucks played a real solid game tonight, but despite that this was an entirely winnable game.

You can blame the dumb penalty by OEL, but the bigger problem is that this team's offensive depth continues to be an issue. When Matthews and Marner play like that (and JT is playing injured), we struggle to score.
