I'm just tired of our big guns not able at all to take over games. I don't expect them to be dominant every game but they haven't been dominant all season. If they don't get it together we will be one and done in the playoffs again.

Not a great effort but man do we need to either replace Holl or use someone else with Muzzin because he just gives up easy plays and bad readss every night this season.

Ritchie experiment should be over its doing nothing for us now.

I would have wanted the Leafs to have come out with a little more special effort after the way the Penguins beat the tar out of them in October, but I don't think they're wired that way.

I think they really need to re-establish their offensive game over the next little while because while thriving in an in tight game is great, it's another thing to completely not play to your offensive strengths.

They’ve been winning their fair share of those so far this and last year. Not going to win all 82, Pittsburgh is a good team as much as the media wants to write them off. Quick turnaround for the boys as they get the second game at the isles new IBS arena tomorrow.

My thoughts?

1- Campbell is an elite #1, I don't care what anyone else says, he's earned that title.. tonight was another solid outing for him

2. The Holl/Muzzin pairing is brutal! Both guys slow AF, and neither can handle the puck at all, which is a huge issue in and of itself. Not sure what is going through Keefes mind with that pairing, but he needs to call the time of death on it, and switch up.

3- JT useless when he doesn't have Marner on his arm, he needs to be carried by him... I would put #16 back with him, and allow Willy/Auston to work magic together again.

Keefe was worried Matthews and Nylander weren't producing enough together, now everyone is equally not producing

Clean outworked in this one. Not good enough.

And yeah ZERO even strength (non-EN) points for the Big 4 in 3gms since Keefe switched them back for no real reason.

We didn’t dominate as much as people think, score effects kicked in with 4 minutes left instead of 20 to make shots closer
