In 20 games we have only scored more than 3 goals 4 times (4x2 and 5x2), the defensive hockey is great, but I think the top 4 are due for a run of 6 and 7 goal games at some point soon, would be nice to see a blaze of goals through the west coast.

And the end result of all of that is a guy who's been on pace for between 70-75 points the last 3 seasons, not ideal for 11 mil and not underrated.

Yea, maybe a 1-1.5 mil overpaid. But was brought in as a UFA, overpayment normally happens there. He's been pretty much a PPG player his whole time in Toronto. As a 2nd line player, I am not sure how much more you can ask for.
