If we can keep Kopitar and his linemates in check we should be alright. Other than his line the secondary scoring is not only manageable but dare I say inferior to our own.
Jack will just need to equal the performance of John. I genuinely like our chances.
 
Im not getting any hopes high until May.. but i will say this team looks so different from previous seasons defensively and just having such little action in their own zone. I really hope that holds

Funny you say that. It is a real struggle some nights to watch the Leafs non-national games. I have a panic moment every time I get the spinny thing for too long. Most of my success lately has come from the ESPN+ channels believe it or not. Of course this all depends on your provider. So far I have not missed a game, so it's all been worth it.

Wife is less impressed... but I am like, it's "free"!

I will prob watch on TNT, since it is national and I haven't watched one of their broadcasts in full yet. I did catch one with Messier and Chelios as the instudio analysis... that was something to behold. I think that was TNT, maybe it was ESPN acutally... either way, awkward. Almost a guarantee I switch to SN lol.

Living in Calgary now , this start time is perfect :)

Although you guys and gals really don’t have an excuse not to stay up and watch. Unless you have kids I guess :p

Back home in NL this is an 11:30 start (sometimes don’t even start until midnight) and I’d be up watching so get that coffee in you boys and girls !

He seems to be slowly getting to positive and is likely positive if looking at only this year so far, but he's got a few years of being one of the extreme guys where the numbers would be hard pressed to see value - I.e. a few years of getting extreme tough usage and extreme defensive zone usage while playing on one of the worst teams in the league. Even analytics which try to adjust for that kind of usage would have a tough time adjusting for an extreme like that.

I was a skeptic coming into the year but this year in 20gms so far he's putting up much better numbers than he ever did in Chicago, so if it keeps up he'll get positive eventually.

I honestly felt really bad when we traded Grundstorm. I thought he had the making of Nik Kulemin type of player
He still may turn out to be a good player

Durzi I was never high on and was very upset that missed out on Thomas

I dont' know anything about Bjornfot
