Imagine the idea that front loading his contract could bring the average down on the contract. Player getting the money right away is more money, but some how the Leafs never manage to use that advantage. Let's hope wirh Bill it works out because it really is extra millions in the end for the players.

Elliotte chimed in and didn’t dispute Kypers report. Also says he the leafs have been working hard on a deal with Nylander for the last 3 weeks. Expects a deal to get done this week.

We have so many advantages for the player in signing with us but we get bodied every time. It makes no sense to me

25 too, there's no reason to be surprised if he's found a maturity with his game. He's smart, simple, effective, guy looks an absolute steal atm.
