I wouldn't go that far yet but yes no reason he shouldn't be playing.
 
I was looking forward to a Hyman/Pionk scrap to atone for the last game’s slash fest. Pionk is a nasty little rat, wish we had one heavy hitting forechecker that could bury that guy.

Yup Dermott moved to the right side. Had a feeling Keefe wouldn't play Liljegren.

Predicted Foligno could end up with Matthews and Marner in his first game.

Also usual top pairing is back = Win

Muzzin-Holl

Good to see Sandin getting an extended look.

Hutton on standby in case either one of Sandin, Dermott, Muzz and Holl falters or needs a rest.

We need a huge game from Sandin/Dermott. Jets have a deadly top 6 and last change. Maurice will throw out Ehlers/Scheifele/Connor/PLD at them all game. That's gonna be the matchup to watch.

Liljegren is probably 8th or 9th on the depth chart atm. Doubt he sees any time this season unless we get severely banged up down the stretch here.

Had a feeling that's where Foligno would end up as well. Gives him the best chance to succeed and Galchenyuk was not looking good on that line, he was a lot better with Tavares and Nylander.

I would imagine that would be the case unless they are desperate like they were with Sandin last year. If we have Engvall still in the press box, then we don't need Robertson. Especially since we are not really giving him PP or prime playing time anyways.
 
Simmonds and Thornton in again. It’s time they get replaced. We have Engvall out and as much as I don’t appreciate him very much at all. Thornton and Simmonds are washed up. They need to sit and be depth. If they don’t want to do that then maybe they aren’t the leaders you are led to believe. It’s best for the team that they are removed from the lineup. They kill our game. They are washed up and done like dinner.

There is no chance these guys have out played Robertson either. The jets are a little loose at times defensively and Robertson has a good chance of getting some time and space in the offensive zone against these guys as any North division team. So Keefe removes him. Wonderful. Leafs management doesn’t have the nuts to remove the veterans.

I don't mind giving Dermott a few games on the right side to see how he does there. That is likely where he ends up if he has a future here, since Sandin likely takes over Muzzin's spot behind Rielly over time.
